It’s been a busy few weeks. Last weekend, he went to his first high school dance. The dance, called Morp, was held at school. And most of the boys wore basketball jerseys. He went solo but met up with his friends once there.

While he got his dance moves on, daddy and I, lived it up in style. First up, Costco where Christmas is in season. How! And once we were kicked out of there with its closing, we hit up a furniture store.

One of us really enjoyed making the chair go up and down. As you can probably tell, we really lived it up.

The weekend also brought our second tournament win. The boy threw great on Sunday. These boys play like a team and are fun to watch. We also found out that we are headed to Charleston for a tourney in July. We’ve never been and can’t wait! Grandparents, get ready. I think we found our next adventure.

This week, the clubs start at his school. Tonight is the debate club’s first session. He actually was approached by a sophomore to join. She’s Korean as well. It seems they have a debate scheduled at Columbia that all members attend. It’s funny because we had talked about how knowing how to debate is an excellent skill set. It gets tougher once sports start for him with being active with clubs…. or does it, debate amongst yourselves.
