So this kid has had a successful two weeks at school. He seems to be settling in nicely. Meeting new friends. Getting back into the groove of study. The next steps will be adding sports to the equation. He starts travel baseball this weekend.

We had ourselves a fun Labor Day weekend. Always nice to have family down at the house. And we hit all of the good spots, Manco’s and Kohr. Fun and food, yes please.

I left a day earlier to head home for the big game against LSU. That was a good decision as it went down to the wire and I was screaming my head off. But alas, we got the victory. Proud of this team. It’s been a year of we are weak and can’t play defense. 1400 pounds of weight and muscle gain and superior coaching changed that narrative.

I spent a morning, after running on the beach, just wishing my amazing Uncle Larry a Happy Heavenly Birthday. If you look hard enough..,you feel is presence. Just a glorious sunrise on his day. Special, just like he was.
