The boys are back in town. Last weekend, we officially kicked off 13u spring ball. It’s a fun group of kids. Some with deeper voices and longer legs. P

Zachary started this weekend playing third base. We love this coach because he gets the opportunity to play several positions.

He also pitched in very windy conditions on Saturday. Not a bad outing: 3.2 innings, 4 hits, 2 walks and 2 strike outs, 60% strikes. Wind was gusting 25 mph the whole time. In a key moment, he slammed a triple dead center over his former teammate. The next inning, Liam then hit a blooper over Zach’s head at short. These two are competitive, playing in a whiffle ball league on the side. So they trash talk each other. Crazy how much they have grown.

But the big moment came on Sunday when Z had his own cheering section. Pretty big honor, Great Grandmom at 96 came out to watch. And a group from Boston along with Mom Mom and Pop Pop. Pretty incredible day and a great start to baseball, winning 2 of 3.
