Sometimes you just have to remind yourself how lucky you are to have this kid in your life. It’s been a rough couple of weeks in this household. It started as a common cold that quickly escalated to a sinus infection for Zachary and me. That meant, several days of migraines, followed by doctor visits, milder headaches and a cold that refuses to leave us even 10 days later. Zachary missed three days of school and finally headed back to today. I’m just praying by the weekend we’re both in a better health spot.

This good boy knew his mommy was not feeling well. He was all over me and refused to leave my side. Can you tell we’ve had lots of rain with those curly locks?

In better news, we successfully celebrated several birthdays: Great GMom who turned 96, Pop Pop and daddy. It was a fun day. And we’re all so blessed to have each of them in our lives.

Not much else new in this household. I think we’re all looking forward to spring…bring on the warmer weather!
