It’s been a whirlwind last couple of weeks for this guy. He’s been applying for prep school to gage his options.
Last weekend, we were up bright and early so that he could take an entrance exam. Long four hours for him. Perhaps longer for us as we sat around trying to kill time.
We had dinner Sunday night to celebrate Mom Mom’s birthday. It was a fun night full of family and laughter. Happy Birthday Mom Mom. Up next, prep for Thanksgiving. I can’t believe how fast this one is coming.
Yesterday, Zach did his shadow day at the Prep. This is where the student becomes embedded in the school with a current student. While he went to classes, the parents got a tour of the school. We really enjoyed it. It was cool to drop into classes and see the kids working….pretty big difference between the freshman and seniors. The senior classes were more vocal and some even had music playing. But the topics were advance, learning micro economics in high school. And the big one for Z, a class is learning 200 words this semester. Bonus, they got a Thanksgiving dinner for lunch.
We’ll asses options once we learn if accepted, there is no guarantee. For now, it was pretty cool to see Zachary in dress slacks, tie and jacket looking dapper.
