Road Trippen: Day 14

We started off the day in Canada in a smaller RV campground. I went for a run, up and down the hillside closest to the amusement park. Zachary threw from a grassy hill, again. And before you could unwind, we were on the road again.

The first stop was a First Nation stop in Canada called Smash Head Buffalo. I know, the name is saying something. It got its name from a poor lad getting smashed by a buffalo after he was trapped between the buffalo and a cliff. This became a way to kill the buffalo, drive them off the foothills. Everyone went into the museum, except Mike and I who stayed with Bella.

We then headed to the US border getting there an hour before it closed. Who knew it would be that busy at that hour. We finally made it to the front. She asked if we were hiking. I explained had two sets of grandparents and she offered up an easier trail. Good to be back in country.

We grilled breakfast for dinner. The griddle did it’s work and before you knew it, the sun was setting.
