Week in Rewind: June 10

So, i got a little sidetracked with my updates. I’m going to do a quick snapshot. First up, Zachary performed at his last band concert. It was a fun night.

That Friday, we headed up to Six Flag’s for a band competition. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. The regular band scored an Excellent while the Jazz Band scored Outstanding. The Jazz in particular was fun and sounded amazing

They then headed to the amusement park. It was a fun group and they had a great time.

Next up, this guy came to visit Here they are two Bunga Heads enjoying an ice cream cone.

Here they are tossing footballs….and we wont mention their basketball dustup. Someone almost threw out his back, lol.

We had a really good time and it was sad to see them leave. Need to get back out to LA to visit and restart the SC fanfare with the boy. He may have lost his way when he said in his year book that his dream was to pitch for Vanderbilt…say what!

Finally, Zachary’s team won another tournament last weekend. And yes, mommy got a little loud. The opposing coach was, shall we say, very loud and obnoxious. While only 10, I think they thought they would steamroll us. Zachary started the Chip. He lasted 4 innings, but had some teammate errors that got them in the hole, 4-0. But the little team that could came roaring back and won 5-4 in extra innings. It was a close one and someone, not to be named may have yelled, ”that’s how we roll in Philly.”
