Happy New Year! I’ve been having some major issues with the blog, as in not able to post. But today, it let me in so we are going to do a full blast update

Before Christmas, we had the B Christmas. It was a really fun day filled with laughter and good old family fun. A fun moment, watching the kids find their Christmas ornaments. We ended the night at a diner finishing a meal and eating home made Toni cookies, lots of love and laughter.

Ladies, someone had a trumpet solo. His 6th grade band played a holiday concert. The director asked him to do a solo and at first he refused. It took some coaxing but eventually he relented and did it. He played a nice rendition of Deck the Hall and Oh Christmas Tree. And he made the school’s website to boot

Next up a quick trip to my parents. We took several walks in the local park. The weather was quiet mild, yay.

We chow downed to a wonderful Christmas dinner. Thank you mom. It was delish.

The pups got to see their babysitter. Should I be worried how attached Bella is to him? She refused to leave his lap.

We had our first snow storm and someone loved it. My little wooly boy. Fun fact, little snow balls like to attach to the Cavalier leg feathers…and the boy had what can only be described as hundreds of them.

Little Miss Mattie made another Christmas. This little girl is 14 years old. This week, she stopped eating and we prepared for the worse. After eating some PB, she rebounded. This morning, she came out hungry. Let’s hope she can keep it up. The little girl has fight.

Something really cool that we did. We were able to record conversations with Great Grandmom and Uncle Dick. Precious gems that explain a life to the next generation. See that kid up there with the big smile and crossed legs, that’s my Uncle Larry. This is the man that I will always see. Full of life, taking it head on. Lessons to expound upon Zachary.

so as we head into a new year with all of its possibilities and challenges, go live your best life. We are so incredibly blessed. Happy New Year everyone.
