This morning, we leave for Hill City. Lucky for us (sarcasm included) the Sturgis biker event starts this Friday not far from where we will be. Bikers, bikers, everywhere. We may need to get ourselves some biker gear to blend in…does anyone have a Harley available?

We spent our last night at a small town outside of Devil’s Tower. We ate at a restaurant named Ponderosa. The food did not disappoint. And the pork chops were enormous.

The rest of us ate bison burgers and I can attest they were delicious. Poor Bob. This place looked like a true cowboy town. Luckily, us city folk got out of there without incident..but it was a close one. The waitress, with a slip of the tongue (or not) asked which were the alcoholics when ordering our drinks. And then she had to redo the order when we changed the bison orders 3 time. But alas, the food came out and it was delish.

So goodbye Wyoming. It’s been real. On to Hill City SD…and lots of bikers.
