Week in Review June 4

I’m simply going to call this the week of JuJu. And boy, what a week it has been. The good old boy is certainly feeling his oats and is becoming a little bit of a goof ball.

Let’s see where to begin. See that trash can up there. Well to JuJu, it’s like fine dining with new and exotic flavoring to wet his ever expanding food palette. I give him one thing, it certainly beats eating poop, but not by much. JuJu likes to attack that trash can all times of the day. And Mr. Dog Trainer, vinegar does not seem to deter this guy. He simply takes his vinegar spray down and then proceeds to walk around the island to the other side, desperately hoping no one will notice. You know its bad when the vet tells us “oh yay, he’s definitely a foodie”. Is there a record for inhaling a bowl of dinner? Because we definitely have winner, winner, chicken dinner in this house. Does he even chew? And now, we put him back in the crate because he likes to go after the other dog’s bowls. He actually leaves out a big burp when you pick him up hovering over Reecie’s bowl.

And let’s not forget about the medical gowns the vet gave us to protect his snip snip. It had push together buttons to prevent him from opening. But alas, JuJu Bear was not deterred. He really is like a big kid who when told no, focuses all of his energy in pointing out that you are wrong. Day two of wearing them, he figured out how to unbutton himself. And wait for it….the best part, he then worked on his sister’s gown. It really was a prisoner escape.

Speaking of escaping. We already had the near tragic end a few weeks ago. So, when outside it’s all eyes on JuJu. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of emptying a bucket full of cleaning water, with the door closed but not all of the way shut. That certainly didn’t stop him. He figured out how to barge right out there and made his way to the neighbor kids. Luckily, that’s where he stopped. He really does think everyone loves him. Look at me..look at me…look at me. That’s why he is now micro chipped.

The vet tech mentioned that he would be the perfect agility dog. And sadly, I do believe she is correct. Yes, we have an Eagle Knievel in this household. Imagine him on his dirt bike about to jump 20 cars. Well, that JuJu. You can hear him galloping from the kitchen about to launch into the family room. He looks like a bird in flight with those long ears spread out like wings.

In better news, he really is learning the word NO. And as crazy that he can get, he also is so super loving. You want wet kisses, he’s good for that. He loves his sister unconditionally. Did I mention that he is super friendly? He loves everyone and makes fast friends. He definitely is a snuggler. And let’s face it….he’s a good looking boy. He really is the cute surfer dude, that lives life on the edge.
