Week in Rewind

Here is a quick peak into our week.

On Monday, we celebrated Martin Luther King’s Day. The Autobiography of Martin Luther King Jr. should be a must read for everyone. An incredible man at a tumultuous time.

Tuesday was our first Beta call with Tom House. We all sat mesmerized as Tom discussed Tom Brady and Drew Brees. He lectured the young guns that it is a long process that requires work everyday. I’m not saying Zachary will be a better pitcher but I do know that he will be a better person. These are life lessons. And detailed break down of mechanics are a huge plus.

Wednesday ushered in a new president. I’m not going into any politics but I do think we can all agree that the Democracy will go on.

Thursday saw a lot of test preparation for Zachary. Hard work takes a lot of effort not just on the ball field. The boy tackled his review like a champ. Today, we also had to run the pups over to the vet for ear infections. Poor JuJu was a hot mess all night moaning in pain.

Friday, Friday, Friday. Zachary had three test in three different subject matters. The pups seem to be on the mend from their ear infections. A weekend with limited plans, can you say, still cleaning the basement. After disposing of, I kid not, 40 bags of trash, the basement is starting to take shape.

Weekend: It looks like a cold, nasty weekend with high winds. Boo. We’ll have to make the best of it. I see a lot of Chess and Occulus in our weekend.
