Yesterday was a rather eventful day. It started normally. After finishing up our yard work, we decided to get tickets to the local minor league game.
And then disaster struck. I jammed my pinky toes into a chair. Let’s just say, the chair got the better of it. Pretty sure that’s it’s broken
With the game an hour to start, I iced and then made my way. It’s amazing how toes are so important to walking. I ouchied my way to the seat, elevated and sat.
We had seats directly behind home plate for $15 each. Crazy cheap and cool to watch. Scouts in front of us had radar guns, clocking the National pitcher. That kid was impressive. 94 balls that moved. We got to watch the scouts tracking the kid’s pitching.
Pretty cool to watch the boy taking it all in. So not the best of situations for me, but well worth doing. I’d definitely go back to another game. That small town stadium feel was pretty neat.
