We spent a quiet night at home on Vakentine’s and I wouldn’t have wanted it any differently.  At home, with my two boys and three pups.  Chocolates for everyone.  Life is good.

Zachary, for his part, loved the Valentine Cards from school…not the cards, mine you, but the candy  He got cards and gifts from important family members…and no, he will not be buying more candy with his treasure trove of gifts.

It did get me thinking of a world when the boy does have a girlfriend…how different his world will be.  This mom just hopes that we have imparted in him love and how to treat a lady.  Hopefully he too finds the Valentine meant just for him.
