We’ve really felt jilted with the wet, dreary September. Thank goodness, that month has been put to rest.  Hello October with your beautiful sunshine and warmer weather.  We made a quick holiday weekend run to OC for one more beach trip.  It has not disappointed.  The Fall Festival was fun to attend and a great firework show ended the day.

By the next morning, we were walking the dogs on the beach

And someone was climbing a big sand pile:

Daddy went home for the game, while the boy and I headed to the beach for a perfect 80 degree day.

Not a bad way to spend a holiday weekend.  With one more on tap, I just hope we can replicate it.
