Saturday was a fast day for us.  Someone ran the Dragon Run and placed 1st in age. Yeah daddy!  At the same time, Facebook brought up Z’s first race.  Quiet a difference.

Z took his Black Belt Pre-Test.  It was tense and very serious, but I think he rocked it.  The Master judging him said that he did a great job with strong moves and that he could be a really good Master someday.  We’re just aiming for that black belt and then will decide whether to continue.

The best part is the kids and families   It’s a great group, supportive of each other, which I love.  Great lesson for Z that you can excel at something and still root for others to excel too. And we definitely do that with our Karate family
