Odds N Ends

Zachary had his first baseball game last Friday and he was thrilled that Pop Pop was there. But the skies were angry, my friend and when the boy rounded third base…a bolt of lightening struck again.  With that, there was a mad rush to the cars.  Luckily, mommy could foresee this happening and parked close by

Soon thereafter the game was called with flash flood warnings sounding on all phones, probably a smart decision.   But alas, we did not heed that warning and unwisely drive into the storm in search of food.  That’s when the flood gates opened, scary bad rain made driving a hazard.  We pulled over to wait the heavy stuff out  and decided to head home.   Thankfully we all made it home

Mommy and daddy went to see my favorite rocket man, Elton John.   It just amazes me at 71 that he can still play like a 20 year old.  Two and a half hour concert filled with all of his hits and amazing piano rifts.  Just an amazing concert but unfortunately his last official tour.  I’m doubling down that the little guy can become the next piano man, a girl can dream
