We’re always preaching to Zachary to be an Information seeker in life.  Be curious.  Want to know.  Always challenge yourself.  Information seeking is the mantra in this household and a life long obsession. Read Walter Isaacson’s Leonardo Da Vinci and you start to understand how great minds push themselves to think and learn.

At times, I suspect this mantra goes in one ear and out the other.  In spite of this fact, the kid makes learning look effortless.  Cumulative straight A’s for the year, all while holding down a pretty busy schedule outside of school.  And to this proud mama, this means more than any heroic sporting victory.

We hear that third grade is the challenge year, more homework, book reports, lots and lots of testing.  But in the spirit of information seeking…bring it on.
