Last weekend, Z had his last fall baseball game.  We spent part of the week retooling his pitch. He’s been throwing sidearm, so we worked on an over the top pitch.

As of Friday night, the boy was a little wild with it. But somehow on Saturday, he zoned in and pitched a pretty good inning. On the way home, we talked about GRIT and how the most talented individuals aren’t always the most successful. Life takes a combination of talent and work…and his GRIT paid off last weekend.
