Uncle Larry

Last weekend, we drove to Ohio to dedicate the Larry Heid Basketball courts.  When my uncle died, my brother and I knew we had to do something to honor his legacy….and what better way than a through basketball court at the local park.  The city and local high school were wonderful in working with us to get it done. And it turned out amazing

The court was officially opened during a ceremony attended by key members of the city and high school.  The band played.  My bother and I got up to speak.  Former coaches offered their memories.  It was a special day and one that was fitting of such a remarkable individual
