Little Man

I really don’t know when it happened. It happened so darn fast. The little guy quickly exited the toddler stage and moved into the little  boy stage.  Part of me is sad to see the era end..part of me is happy to see where life is taking him

He continues to do very well in school. His latest report card was excellent. He reads very well..and is as quick as a whip with math. His teacher describes him as sensitive and kind to others.

In sports, he excels. Just last week, we watched him charge to third base in an effort to beat the runner to the bag. A nasty fall scared mommy..but he got right back up. So the boy is definitely tough. He now shoots baskets and pretends to be different sports teams, much like his mommy used to do. A one on one game against yourself, is there a better imaginative world.

He cares about his hair and what he is wearing. And I’m sure soon girls will be calling. But just when you think he is to “big” for his parents. He’ll wrestle with daddy and give mommy a gentle kiss on the cheek.

He may no longer be the toddler boy that needed help with everything…but he’s turned into a remarkable little boy. And we’re super lucky to have him in our lives. His Korean name meant Golden Treasurer, truer words have never been spoken.
