Day 2

Today, we continued our quest to see all of D.C. in a few days. Whew, lot to do down here.

We started our tour at the Lincoln Museum.  Someone was in a rather ornery mood with this one..as in not having it.

We then did the Korean and WW II Memorials.  Someone was still not in the best of moods

Finally on the walk back along the Reflection Pond, the boy became more amicable.

Afterward, we headed over to Arlington Cemetary and saw Iowa Jima and the Changing of the Guard. Simply amazing to see.

It’s not always easy traveling with kids  The tantrums and tired pleads wear you to the bone.  Yet, we live to fight another day  and build memories that will last a life time

Tonight, we are doing a twilight tour to see the city in all its glory..I just pray the highlight isn’t a major tour bus meltdown..but alas, what else would vacation be!
