Spring Break

This week, the little guy had his spring break. It started rather slow..but we’re on a good roll now.

Yesterday we did our Easter Eggs. You may notice that some are better than others…let’s just say the boy is quiet the artist while mommy is not.  Okay I’ll say it, Mommy’s attempt at a chickie egg didn’t turn out so good…in fact, its down right scary

The next day, we headed down to D.C., just mommy and the little guy.  We saw the White House and its visitor center…next time I’m doing the tour

We then walked over to the Air & Space Museum.  There were many wow!  And when I told him that his Great Grandpop flew a plane in WW II…the questions were nonstop

We then went into a sculpture garden…the highlight was the dippy ice cream and a breather from walking

At the Natural Historical Museum, we saw (I’ll be honest, this one was a blur, the boy was in warp speed but I’m pretty sure I saw some ancient mammoths

And finally, we headed over to the Washington Monument…but it’s still under renovation.  A little disappointing not to go up in it, oh well, by that point…we were exhausted

Great first day in DC.  And I’m happy to spend some one on one time without rushing from one activity to another.  Our motto this trip, Lets Do It.
