Zachary will be competing again in another tournament. So it’s been a week filled with lots of karate.  This time he’s going to do a form and weapon.  When we arrived early on Tuesday, Master Q had the little guy do his weapon form.  He couldn’t stop saying “WOW”.

And then he turned to me and said, you do realize 6 years old shouldn’t do it that well.  He’s light years ahead of his age.  He then went on to make suggestions..but he loved his power.

So, as I explained on the way home…GRIT works…and a little bit of badastery pay off.  Good thing the Karate Kid was on over break..because I believe the boy thinks he’s Ralph Machio
