Growing up a Cleveland fan has never been easy. Some would say there was a stink to it.  But alas, things have started to turning Cleveland’s way.  Witness the banner ceremony..with Queen playing in the back ground (mommy rocked the little guy’s world this week with an old Queen concert)…and now he routinely sings We Will We Will Rock You

But i digress..the championship that mommy really wants is the tribe.  And this year with the Indians in the World Series…they’re telling me there’s a chance.

This desire goes back to my childhood.  The hour drive up north for a double header.  Stands mostly empty.  Chief Whampu pathetically beating the drum with each new batter…strike three!

A sad scene really..but there we were enjoying the mistake on the lake…well the lovable losers are now contenders and mommy is clearly back on that band wagon. Go Tribe…and thank you Aunt Margie for the Indians tshirt…I’m pretty sure I torched the old ones, probably out of disgust with another 70 loss season…I’ll be proudly wearing the new one around town
