Today mommy celebrates her birthday.  As you get older, birthdays aren’t as fun as they used to be…but the little guy is super excited to make this day special.

It started with card prep work almost 4 days ago…I know, because mommy was not allowed anywhere close to him evidently top secret work was going on.

Then there was the attempt mid week to give me my card early…but it’s not mommy’s birthday yet. Don’t rush it!

And, of course, there was the proclamation, at the bus stop, that it was mommy’s birthday this week….which started on Tuesday

But the best part (only my actual day) was hearing him excitedly run down the stairs to say Happy Birthday, I love you.  Most amazing gift in the world
