So we are a little over a month into school.  And so far the boy is loving it.  I love watching his knowledge growth. One of my favorite times is driving to karate and hearing him school me on different subject matter. Give the boy a soap box and watch out!

This week, we got back his reading level and as of now he’s ahead of his 1st grade starting level. Holler!  All of those summer months of reading starting to pay dividends. Lately, we’ve talking to him about voice infliction to made a story more interesting. It cracks me up when he gives that a try.  For instance he says things such as: THE ghost SAID boo.  A little off but at least he’s trying.
