Gotcha

Last Tuesday, we celebrated our Gotcha Day. It really is surreal that it has been 5 years since we brought him home.

Now that he is older there have been questions about life in Korea.  And this year, we broke out photos that the foster mom gave us, which made him very happy.  But deep down, I know it’s hard.  He knows we love him with all of our being.  But still there are questions.  Where was I born? What is Korea like?  Tell me about my mom and dad?  We do our best to answer but it definitely makes me pray for their well being. We always tell him that he has 3 wonderful mothers in his life (birth, foster and mommy).  We are all tied together by an invisible cord of love for him.  He’s one lucky kid and we are blessed to raise him.
