So clearly Uncle Michael is attempting to brib the boy. This became more obvious as we neared Dodger’s Stadium. He started with little things such as “isn’t Dodger blue your favorite color”. That escalated to a Dodger’s hat and not to be missed Dodger’s dog (which really is a glorified hot dog). When that didn’t sway the boy from his Phillies’ dreams, he pointed out that a favorite player (Chase Utley) now plays for the Dodgers.  Oh, the dagger in the heart play….and it didn’t help that Chase went 8-9 in extra innings

I’m not sure that he was won over, but we sure did enjoy a beautiful day at the park. And we now have a hat, ice cream helmet and baseball to show for it…all in Dodger blue
