The day after was spent putting up the Christmas lights. And you’ll notice the Lowes sign because no light adventure is complete without going there at least two times. We definitely missed Uncle Dick and his wealth of outdoor decor knowledge. Instead, we totally winged it. And let’s just say for a moment mommy was a little scared. But in the end, it all came together and we don’t look too bad. The Griswold’s we are not.
And while we were working away Chickie the Elf made his appearance. Holler!!!! Now, to remember to move each night…
I’m going to say it. We totally made a turkey tonight with gravy and mashed potatoes. Score. And there are plenty of leftovers…but something tells me that won’t last long.
