Fly me to the moon.  Let me play among the stars. Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars

We arrived early in the morning at Port Caniveral. Mommy got up really early to watch them bring us back into dock. Really cool.  But hard to believe the cruise was over. After a quick breakfast at the Royal Palace, we headed to the Kennedy Space Museum. Literally, we were first in line for the picture with the astronaut.

It really is mesmerizing to think that humans have been in space. I was the Challenger generation…and to see pieces of it, breaks your heart.  And don’t get me started with Neil Armstrong and John Glenn…heroes.

The little guy, for his part, loved it. The best part was the blast off simulator. As we waited in line, he simply didn’t want to do it…which we both found hard to believe. This from the kid has the need for speed. So we coaxed him on it. He sat holding his ears and watched intently to the video monitors. When it was over, there was relief. And the question, so mommy are we in outer space now???   Outer Space, Dear God, I hope not.

Move over Astro, we’re home.
