Week in Rewind: May 22

This week saw the return of Chae to serve as our Korean tutor. And someone didn’t miss a beat. Although he did wonder why her sister didn’t also come down. As Chae said, you can now see his personality and she sees an outgoing boy full of life.  You got that right…

There was new huge milestone this week. Dare I say it, the boy somehow managed to get a certificate for the end of soccer.  Too bad it’s ending, because someone was finally getting the hang of it.  Ok, so I bribed him with a fruit juice, but the point is…it worked, he fully participated for the first time. Mama, I’m saving the best for last.

Tomorrow, daddy and I head away for our 10 year anniversary. Luckily, Pop Pop and Mom Mom are going to watch him and the grand pups. I have to say that I have been a little stressed about it. Leaving him behind will be hard. But I know he’s in good hands.

As I write, the little guy is giving me his sly, little smile. It always makes me laugh. Someday, that little smile is going to melt a woman’s heart. For now, it’s all mine and I love it
