It really is amazing to watch the learning growth of a child. Some of it is funny: such as a word that is a tiny winy bit off. Mama, I pacifically want that one. kankahoos like to jump.
Sometimes he gets these deeply focused eyes as he tries to figure it out. Which usually leads to “what did you say Mama”. As if he really wants to understand.
And then out of the blue, he’ll do something that totally blows your mind. This time it was the singing of Take Me Out To The Ballgame. Who knew?
He also has a magically, imaginative mind. His Zachary original songs usually sound like known melodies, but with the twist of his own words. And he proudly belts them out.
Even with all that learning, he’s still my little boy….always jumping to new learning opportunities and the occasional nap to recharge.
