Week in Rewind: Mar 14

Stop the presses: next week, the little guy is student of the week at his daycare  Someone could not have been more proud. And by someone, I mean the little guy. He smiled as he explained his favorite colors, food, toys.  Something tells me that someone likes the limelight….

Last weekend, we celebrated three awesome birthdays. It started with a round of bowling and quickly progressed to cake and ice cream. And the little guy loved every minute of it. Happy Birthday Great Grandmom, Pop Pop and Daddy

Lately, the weather can’t seem to make up its mind.  A beautiful 70 degree day was quickly followed by nasty cold winds and 20 degree weather.  Darn you Old Man Winter.  But someone doesn’t seem to mind.  Mama, little boys love wind, snow and cold weather.  Me: really, you can’t ride your bike out in the cold.  Little guy: oh.   Yes, my little boy, let that one sink in.

Soccer starts in 2 weeks. So Mama bought the little guy a net to practice. But in only a way that a 3 year old can school you…the little guy pointed out that it is a really tiny net.  Mama’s response: that way the bigger net will look enormous.  Which resulted in a perplexed look by the little guy…why you might ask….because as he so smartly told me:  they are big nets Mama.
