One Step Closer

Last night, we talked with the doctor from CHOP who reviewed the child’s medical history.  We were relieved to hear that he is medically on track and has even hit developmental milestones a little early.  While reviewing his growth chart, she claimed that this is a big boy.  He currently is in the 97% with weight and 85% in height.  This little guy is apparently an eater.   Perhaps a clue, his chubby little cheeks and the fact his foster mom said that he likes the bottle.  MMH GOOD.
Based on the doctor’s advice, we sent off a list of additional questions to the agency.  Once these are cleared, we plan to make it official.  It is always reassuring to hear a doctor tell you that (although there are risk), this little guy is perfectly adoptable and well within ranges.  We want so desperately for this little boy to be happy, healthy and stimulated.
Stay tuned….
