Big game today. Mike just headed to the Eagles playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. Let’s just hope that they bring home a win. These types of games are not for me. Don’t get me wrong: I LOVE football, but would never sit through one in the teens. As I watched Mike put on layer after layer of clothing, I couldn’t help think to myself poor fool! It is frigid outside with a nasty wind. Some would say this is football weather. I, however, prefer to watch the game nice and cozy, warmed by two lap dogs that never leave my side.
The weather has been brutal since early December. Yesterday, it snowed all day and we received about 3 inches. The bigger issue is looming: a possible Noreaster headed our way Tuesday night into Wednesday. Oh to be on a sunny beach in Hawaii right now.
We received our Korean update on Friday. Our agency is projecting a 4 month wait for a referral right now. It typically slows during the first of the year. That would put us around the March-April timeframe with travel occurring 6-8 months from there. At first I was a little bummed by the longer sessions. But ironically it is probably better for us. I just found out that I have a torn hip labrum and will probably need surgery. Ugh! It has been a tough couple of years for me. I shattered my right knee cap (running of all things) and was just getting back to normal when the hip happened. I guess there is such a thing as two left feet.
